Kuari Pass Trek

Kuari Pass Trek can be covered along with Badrinath Trip. It can be done either going to Badrinath first and then to Kuari Pass Trek or trekking to Kuari Pass first and then going to Badrinath from Joshimath. Lord Kurzon made the trek to Kuari pass , and since then it has come to be known as Curzon's trail.

It is very popular among European and American Travelers. In 1905 Lord Curzon reached Kuari pass from Ghat via Ramni. Today many trekkers preffer to undertake the trek in the reverse direction. The main attraction of Curzon's trails is the majestic viwe of the twin peaks of Nanda Devi , Kamet , Dronagiri and Hathi-Ghodi Parvat.

Day 1: Delhi :
Met on arrival and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Delhi - Rishikesh :
Morning drive to reach Rishikesh by covering approx 225 kms. Arrive and check into hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3: Rishikesh - Ghat :
Morning after breakfast drive to reach Ghat (1900 Mt) by covering approx 220 kms. Arrive and overnight stay in tents.

Day 4: Ghat - Ramni :
Morning after breakfast start trekking to reach Ramni (1982 Mt) by covering approx 10 kms. Arrive and overnight stay in tents.

Day 5: Ramni - Semi Kharak - Jhanjherni :
Morning after breakfast start trekking to reach Jhanjerni (2015 Mt) via Semi Kharak by covering approx 13 kms. Overnight stay in tents.

Day 6: Jhanjherni - Panarani :
Morning after breakfast start trekking to reach Panarani (2043 Mt) by covering approx 12 kms. Overnight stay in tents.

Day 7: Panarani - Senatoli :
Morning after breakfast start trekking to reach Senatoli (2486 Mt) by covering approx 17 kms. Overnight stay in tents.

Day 8: Senatoli - Dakvani - Kuari Pass :
Morning after early breakfast start trekking (10 km) to cross Kuari Pass (4268 Mt) via Dakvani. From the Pass you can have a breathtaking view of Nanda Devi and other numerous peaks. Overnight stay in tents on the other side of the pass.

Day 9: Kuari Pass - Auli :
Morning after breakfast start trekking (24 km) to reach Auli (2519 Mt). Auli has one of the longest ski slopes and one can also have a panoramic view of the Nanda Devi group of peaks. Overnight stay in tents.

Day 10: Auli - Joshimath :
Morning after breakfast start trekking to reach Joshimath (1890 Mt) by covering approx 8 kms. Overnight stay at Tourist Bungalow.

Day 11: Joshimath - Rishikesh :
Morning after breakfast start your journey to Rishikesh (250 km). Arrive and check into hotel for overnight stay.

Day 12: Rishikesh - Delhi :
Morning after breakfast drive (225 km) to Delhi. Arrive and check into hotel for overnight stay.
