Hemkund Sahib

Hemkunt Sahib or Hemkund Sahib is a pilgrimage site for Sikhs in Chamoli district, With a setting of a glacial lake surrounded by seven mountain peaks and each peak is adorned by a Nishan Sahib on its cliff, it is located in the Himalayas at an elevation of 15,200 ft. It is accessible only by foot from Gobindghat on the Rishikesh-Badrinath highway.

Hemkunt Sahib is famous for the Sikh worship-place Gurudwara, known as Gurudwara Sri Hemkunt Sahib Ji, devoted to Guru Gobind Singh Ji (1666–1708), the tenth Sikh Guru, which finds mention in Dasam Granth, a piece of work narrated by Guru Gobind Singh Ji,Himself.

Valley of Flowers

Valley of Flowers National Park nestled high in Himalayas, is renowned for its meadows of endemic alpine flowers and outstanding natural beauty. The Valley of Flowers is splashed with colour as it bloomed with hundreds of different flowers, taking on various shades of colours as time progressed. The valley is home to many celebrated flowers like the Brahmakamal, the Blue Poppy and the Cobra Lily. It is a much sought after haunt for flower-lovers, botanists and trekkers.

Hemkund Sahib and Valley of Flower Tour Itinerary with Char Dham Yatra

Day 1:Delhi - Haridwar(210 Kms./6 Hrs.):-
Arrive in Delhi, Our representative will meet and assist and then drive to Haridwar, On arrival in Haridwar, Check in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. In the evening , we will take you Har-Ki-Pouri for Worship of Holy Ganges. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2:Haridwar - Barkot (215 Kms. 07 hrs):-
In the morning after breakfast drive to Barkot Via Dehradun and Mussorie. On arrival at Barkot, Check in at the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 3:Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot (42 Kms Drive / 5 Kms trek.):-
Early morning Drive to Hanuman Chatti (32 KMS). From where, we will take a local Jeep for Phool chatti to Janki Chatti. We will start our trek from Janki Chatti for Yamunotri (5 KMS). Either by walk or by horse or by Doli at own cost. Arrival at . Yamunotri, One can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the hot kund. Pilgrims take this cooked rice home as "Prasad". Here near the temple "Pooja" can be offered to Divya Shila, After taking bath in Jamunabai Kund's warn water and having "Darshan" of pious "Yamunaji" returning to Hanumanchatti. Later drive back to Barkot. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 4:Barkot - Uttarkashi (Drive 85 Kms, 03 hrs):-
In the morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and Depart for Uttarkashi. On rout visit Praketswar Mahadev Upon arrival at Uttarkashi, Check in at the hotel, at evening visit Overnight at hotel.

Day 5:Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (100 Kms. per way):-
Early morning drive to Gangotri. Upon arrival at Gangotri take a holy dip in the River sacred The Ganges, It’s also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Visit the temple. Late afternoon drive back to Uttarkashi for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6:Uttarkashi - Guptkashi (223 Kms. Drive 9 - 10 Hrs):-
In the morning after early breakfast check out from the hotel and Depart for Guptkashi Via, Tehri Dam, Upon arrival at Guptkashi Check in at the hotel, Overnight at hotel.

Day 7:Guptkashi – GauriKund- Kedarnath (32 Kms & 14 Kms trek):-
Early morning check out from the hotel and Depart for GauriKund. From where, we will start our trek. Either by walk or by horse or by Doli at own cost Upon arrival at Kedarnath, check in at the hotel. In the evening visit Shankaracharya Samadhi behind the temple. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 8:Kedarnath – GauriKund -Pipalkoti:
In the Morning After Pooja, we will start our trek to Gouri Kund. After reaching at Gouri Kund, Drive to Pipalkoti via Guptkashi, Chopta, and Chamoli. Upon arrival at Pipalkoti, Check in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 9:Pipalkoti – Badrinath:
In the morning after breakfast drive to Badrinath. Up on arrival at Badrinath take the holy dip in Tapt Kund (Hot water pond), visit the temple and then drive to Mana Village, 4 km away, is inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe. It is the last village on the Indo-Tibet border. Many places famous in Hindu mythology lie close to Mana Village such as Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Bhimpul and Vasudhara falls. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10:Badrinath – Govindghat –Ghangaria:-
In the morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and then drive to Govindghat , and thereon trek to Ghangaria . overnight at hotel at Ghangaria.( 14 Kms trek; 6-8 hrs walking ) Ghangaria is a base camp to Valley of Flowers . Since valley of flowers is a biosphere reserve and camping is not allowed there. So we will spend our night at Ghangaria.

Day 11:Ghangaria - Hemkund Sahib - Ghangaria (5.5kms/5hr each side):-
Early morning, trek start from here to Hemkund Sahib . Return back to Ghangaria after Darshan. Overnight stay at Ghangaria.

Day 12: Ghangaria - Valley of Flowers - Ghangaria (5 kms each side)
Early morning visit to Valley of flowers. Enjoy the blooming flowers in the Himalayan Valley.

Day 13:Ghangaria – Govinghat- Pipalkoti :
Trek down to Govindghat and there on drive to Pipalkoti. Upon arrival at Pipakoti, check in at the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 14:Pipalkoti – Rishikesh:-
After breakfast drive to Rishikesh via Devprayag. Up on arrival at Rishikesh check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 15:Rishikesh – Delhi:-
In the morning drive to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi, transfer to airport to catch the flight for your onward destination.
