Day 1 Delhi - Rishikesh
230 kms by drive/ 6 hrs)
Morning drive to Rishikesh. On Arrival, transfer to hotel. Later we shall take you for a visit to the Har-Ki-Pauri, enjoy the AARTI in the evening. Later back to hotel for overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 Rishikesh - Rudraprayag - Guptkashi
175 kms drive/ 6 hrs
Depart to Tehri, Srinagar, Rudraprayag. Lunch on the way. Darshan at sangam (confluence) of river Mandakini and Alaknanda and Shankar Temple at Rudraprayag. Overnight at hotel in Guptkashi.
Day 3 Guptkashi to Kedarnath
14kms trek
Rudraprayag to Gaurikund by trek. Ponnies and dolis are available. Kedarnath temple is open up to noon and evening. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 4 Kedarnath to Pipalkoti
After breakfast departure to Gaurikund by trek. Onward by vehicle to Pipalkoti. Overnight stay at Pipalkoti
Day 5 Pipalkoti to Badrinath
Pipalkoti to Badrinath 75 km by road. Overnight stay at Badrinath.
Badrinath is an important Dham in the Chardham Yatra. This ancient sacred place is on the bank of Alaknanda river surrounded by snow claded mountains of Himalaya. It is said that Adi guru Shankaracharya found idol of god Badrinath from the naradkund and set up in the temple of Badrivishal. Bath in Tapt kund and darshan of shri Badrivishal and at evening Swwarn Arti and Kappor Arti are famous to participate. Mana Villege is near to Badrinath, there is Bheempul, Vyas Gufa to visit.
Day 6 Badrinath to Devprayag/Srinagar
Departure via Joshimath. Auli if possible by cable car.
Onward proceed to Devprayag. There is 5000 years old Raghunathji temple darshan and aarti. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7 Devprayag/Srinagar to Haridwar
After breakfast Drive to Haidwar. Upon arrival check in to hotel. Evening Aarti and Pooja. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8 Haridwar to Delhi
Drive back to Delhi. |
