Can anybody suggest me how to go to Badrinath from Haridwar? I am taking my parents and Grandparents to Haridwar - Rishikesh. They want to cover Badrinath also. Please suggest.

The route is straight from Haridwar via Rishikesh. You can take Bus also but better if you take taxi on fixed rent basis from Haridwar or Rishikesh. The route requires some steep climb and height of about 10000 ft. is reached often. You will be required to take necessary medicine and potable water too. Badrinath ji is a road head and you can walk to the temple alternatively, "Pitthu" may be taken for going to the temple.
